Parenting Science is a site founded by a biological anthropologist, with a focus on "child-rearing from the perspectives of anthropology, evolution, developmental psychology, and cognitive science." The site includes information about:

• attachment, emotions, and social skills

• child development

• intelligence and the brain

• sleep

• stress

• science- and math-oriented activities for kids

I was too busy traveling when you posted this, Michael, but it looks like a great site! Thanks, as always, for alerting us to so many resources!
